Job Description:
We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced ISO/IEC 27001 Consultant to join our team on a contract basis. The consultant will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive gap analysis of our current information security management system (ISMS) and developing a detailed implementation plan to achieve ISO/IEC 27001 certification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a thorough assessment of our current ISMS against ISO/IEC 27001 requirements.
- Identify gaps and areas for improvement in our information security practices.
- Develop a comprehensive gap analysis report with detailed findings and recommendations.
- Work with our team to develop a detailed implementation plan, including specific actions, responsibilities, and timelines.
- Provide guidance and support throughout the implementation process.
- Assist in developing and updating information security policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Conduct training and awareness sessions for staff on ISO/IEC 27001 standards and practices.
- Monitor and report on the progress of the implementation plan.
- Prepare the organization for the certification audit, including conducting internal audits and addressing any issues.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in implementing and achieving ISO/IEC 27001 certification.
- Strong knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001 standards and requirements.
- Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISM, or ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the technology sector.
- Experience with other ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001) is a plus.
- Familiarity with risk management and business continuity planning.
